How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches Tearapproved Remodeling to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please tell us. This page shows how to raise a complaint and what comes after. It is a general template, not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You are welcome to write to us about:

  • How things went when you called or contacted Tearapproved Remodeling
  • How your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a provider we connected you with

If the Issue Is With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each one is responsible for its own quotes, contracts, pricing, work and customer service. If a remodeling project has a problem, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly. Keep a written record of what was said.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of what we expect may be removed. Please know that Tearapproved Remodeling cannot settle contract disputes, return money paid for a provider's work, or act for a provider.

How to Send a Complaint

Email contact@tearapproved.property and include:

  • Your name and the easiest way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what you would like us to do

After You Write

We will confirm by email that your complaint arrived, usually within a few business days. We will look into what happened, which may mean contacting the provider. Then we will tell you what we found and any steps we are taking.

If You Are Still Unhappy

If our reply does not satisfy you, answer it and ask us to look again. You may also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For trouble with a contractor, a state or local contractor licensing board may be able to help too.
