About Tearapproved Remodeling and How Referrals Work
Who We Are
Tearapproved Remodeling is a referral service. We help homeowners find independent local providers for kitchen and bathroom remodeling. We are not a contractor. We do not build, tear out, or install anything.
Think of us as a helpful first stop. You tell us about your project, and we point you toward a provider in our network.
Why We Exist
Starting a remodel can feel like a lot, especially in an older home. You may not know who to trust or what to ask. You may also worry about what is hiding behind the tile.
We built this service to make that first step calmer. Old house, calm plan.
How Providers Are Matched
You share what you have in mind. It might be a tub-to-shower conversion, a walk-in shower, a larger bath update, or a kitchen refresh. We look at your location and the kind of work you need. Then we connect you with a provider in our network who may be a fit.
Availability varies, so we cannot promise which provider will be available or how fast. The provider will tell you what they can do.
What We Expect From Providers
We ask providers in our network to be honest and clear with homeowners. That means:
- Looking at your home before giving a price
- Giving a written quote
- Explaining any surprises found in older walls, floors, or plumbing
- Treating your home and your time with respect
Providers run their own businesses. Each one is responsible for its own work, licensing, and insurance where required. Ask to see these details before you hire.
What We Do Not Do
We do not do the remodeling. We do not set prices, and we do not sign your contract. We do not promise a result or a schedule.
We also do not handle small jobs, and we cannot connect mobile homes with providers right now. Our focus is on larger projects in site-built homes, especially bathing-area work.
How We Are Paid
Homeowners are not asked to pay Tearapproved Remodeling to be connected. Providers in our network may pay for the referrals they receive. This does not change what you pay a provider. Always compare any quote you get in writing.
Look Behind the Tile
Older homes can hide aging pipes, soft subfloors, and old patches. Small signs matter. A musty smell, a loose tile, or a stain on the ceiling below can point to a bigger issue. The earlier you ask, the more options you usually have.
